About Lendiro

Built in Dallas. Built for the credit-invisible.

Founded in 2022 and independently funded. We build the decisioning infrastructure that helps lenders reach the 45 million Americans traditional credit scoring cannot see.

Our Mission

The founding insight behind Lendiro

Omar Hassan built Lendiro from a simple but frustrating observation: the data needed to make a good lending decision for a thin-file borrower already exists. It lives in bank transaction records. Every gig worker, every cash earner, every person who has been paying rent and utilities reliably for years — their financial behavior is being recorded. Nobody in the conventional credit system was reading it.

FICO was designed in an era when installment credit was the dominant form of consumer financial behavior. For the 26% of American adults who have never used credit the way FICO expects, the score doesn't fail — it simply has nothing to say. It returns no score, or a score so thin as to be meaningless. These borrowers aren't uncreditworthy. They're credit-invisible to a system that wasn't designed for them.

The insight that cash-flow velocity over 24 months is a robust predictor of creditworthiness for this population isn't controversial in academic credit research. What's been missing is the decisioning infrastructure to make that signal accessible to lenders at production scale — with the ECOA-compliant output structure that regulated lenders require.

That's what Lendiro builds. Not a consumer product. Not a credit bureau. Decisioning infrastructure for the lenders who want to reach this population — built by a team that understands both the data science and the regulatory reality of alternative-data underwriting.

"The data needed to underwrite thin-file borrowers already exists — it lives in their bank accounts. The problem has always been infrastructure, not information."

— Omar Hassan, CEO & Co-Founder

Why cash-flow velocity?

24 months is long enough to identify real patterns — income seasonality, expense cycles, behavioral consistency. Short enough to remain current and predictive of future behavior.

Why velocity? Because a borrower's financial trajectory matters as much as their financial level. A consistent upward trend in income, with stable expense coverage, is more predictive than a static snapshot.
